Marion's Sentimental Journey

This blog is for one purpose. To share with everyone, the intention that I have as a photographer. What will make it worth coming to Marions? What makes it worth it? My new mission is to create every session with the following: Create meaningful images, Create images that "move" the viewer, and Create images that bring "Joy" to those who view them. I will vow to attempt to fulfill this mission for each person that I photograph. This blog will be the host location to showcase client portraits and their "heartfelt" feelings about what their portrait means to them.NO Testimonials about Marion's studio, or me as a photographer or abilities. Just the plain simple truth of "What does your portrait mean to you, from the heart".I hope that you enjoy the experience of this "Sentimental Journey".

Devon at the Beach

"This photo reminds me of a weekend trip to the Hamptons. It's laid-back and easygoing just like myself. It takes me to a place where there's not a care in the world. A place where you can lay on the beach all day and not feel rushed or stressed, just relaxed. Blissful." Sincerely,

Devon

Tommy's Beach Session

"Just wanted to let you know how excited I was to see Tommy's proofs! I told you he would give you a run for your money but you really captured the "real Tommy". He is not one for lots of smiles for the camera, but you were able to catch them. I cried when I first saw them because it is another reality check that your baby is growing up! Excellent Work!"

"You're only three once"

"We cannot begin to express the love that we feel when we look at Megan's photo's. The timelessness of the pictures makes us realize that you are only three once. Years from now we can look back and remember this special time in our lives when our children are young. To have these moments captured and to be able share them with friends and family is very exciting!"

Majestic Solitude

"Looking at this portrait of Autumn makes my heart jump and realize how beautiful she is."

March of Dimes Photo Shoot

"As the Community Director for the March of Dimes in Port Huron, I have the opportunity to have a lot of fun with my job. One of the highlights each year is getting ready for our Signature Chefs Auction event.
Each year, for the past 4 years, John has taken the photo for our invitation & program cover. This years shot was one of the most fun, not to mention, messiest! Our "Cover Model" Conor, had his first taste of cake, but seemed to prefer to use it as finger paint. In the end, we got a great shot, the china plates survived un-chipped and Conor left happy. What a great day!"

Confident as well as Sweet

"She is confident, intellegent and sweet.
She makes us proud to be her parents."

A Newborn Family

"This image captures our first moments together as a family, celebrating our sweet newborn baby girl, in all of her innocence, peacefulness, and wonder.
When we look at this photograph we feel proud of our family and excited about the beginning of our whole new life together."

The Kutsches Love Their Family Portrait

"Looking at our family makes us feel proud of our kids and excited about who they will become. We can see all of the potential in their expressions in that moment, as well as remember how silly they were while having our portrait done. The feeling of love always comes into play when looking at our children together with us, not only because they are our children, but because they do grow up so fast. The "family" times are constantly changing as they grow up and go out into the world and start having families of their own. To be able to share our family portrait with the older generations is so very special, because it always brings a smile to their face: A ray of sunshine and an overwhelming sense of pride!"
